Seminario Safety Audit ICAO en Mexico Julio 2007

Como parte del Plan de Capacitación Permanente, el Cmte. Gonzalo Maldonado ha sido becado por IFALPA para concurrir al Seminario PREPARACION, CONDUCCION Y REDACCION DE INFORME DE AUDITORIA OACI que tuvo lugar en la Ciudad de Mexico del 3 al 6 de julio 2007 para su capacitación como PERITO. La beca otorgada por IFALPA cubrió tanto su registración en el seminario como los gastos de su estadía. Aprovechamos esta comunicacion para agradecer a ARSA los pasajes de cortesia extendidos al comandante, ya que ha sido una importante contribucion al Plan de Capacitación. ICAO UNIVERSAL SAFETY OVERSIGHT AUDIT PROGRAMME MEXICO CITY, MEXICO 3-6 JULY 2007 REPORT Seminar was attended by Aviation entities from all States belonging to NACC, a RASOS Representative – Mr. Gregory Fox, and ICAO’s Autorities and staff. Ms. L.J. Martin, Regional ICAO Director, opened the meeting and welcomed the participants. She introduced Mr. Armando Quiroz, Chief Audit. Coordination and Reporting Section, and Mr. Ignacio Florez., Technical Officer of the ICAO Headquarters Safety Oversight Audit. Section. They were in charge of the Seminar lectures on preparation, Conduct and Reporting of ICAO Safety Oversight Audits. Results and Exchange of Audit Experiences Eventhough we cannot take part in the Audits on behalf of APLA, we may do it as expert witnesses at the request of IFALPA. The attendance to the Seminar of one of our members has been really productive to make us familiar with the procedures, so that we can participate in that capacity, or indirectly should irregularities be detected in the next Safety Oversight Audit conducted in Argentina or in any IFALPA SOUTH REGION State.
