SECURITY-RELATED DEVELOPMENTS IN NATIONAL AUTHORITIES Priority: B To monitor developments within National Authorities, provide inputs and recommend actions. AREAS OR AIRPORTS WITH REPORTED SECURITY RISKS Priority: A The Committee should • Evaluate and analyse available information on security deficiencies • Evaluate the List of security deficient areas or airports (para. 5 of the Preface to IFALPA Annex 17, and present recommendations on possible additions or deletions 11SEC041 4. AIRCRAFT SECURITY The Committee should: • Address aircraft related security issues, monitor relevant developments and consider appropriate actions, as required • Review the current ISAD (Incorporating Security into Aircraft Design) policies and evaluate new aircraft developments with regards to ISAD requirements, in conjunction with the ADO Committee 11SEC036, 048 5. AIRPORT SECURITY Priority: A The Committee should consider: • Security issues related to check-in, screening procedures and associated equipment • Security issues related to baggage • Security provisions at airports and Security surveys 11SEC026, 027, 033, 035, 040, 043, 045, 046, 053, 055R 6. UNLAWFUL INTERFERENCE / IN-FLIGHT DISRUPTION Priority: A The Committee should: • Review the latest acts of unlawful interference and in-flight disruption, identify trends and make recommendations as appropriate • Review what resources are available and actions that may be taken by the aircraft commander 11SEC023R, 042, 044, 056 7. DEPORTEES AND PERSONS IN CUSTODY Priority: A The Committee should monitor procedures regarding the transfer of deportees, inadmissibles and persons in custody 8. SECURITY AND TRANSPORTATION OF GOODS Priority: A Assignment: Carl Hager, Dominique Bonnet, Fran Piniés Principle Policy Reference(s): Annex 17 (Security), Annex 18 (Dangerous Goods) To consider, in cooperation with the DG Committee, the implications of: • carrying on board aircraft items which can become security risks or serve as weapons • illicit transportation of any material 9.
