ICAO, in association with IFALPA well as ACI, IATA, ICCAIA and IFATCA have developed a Document aimed at managing risk in flight operations in the event of known or forecast volcanic ash contamination. While this document is still subject to final editorial revisions and should be treated as such, the view taken by the collaborators is that its importance and relative maturity warrants the release of this Advance Edition.
